A handoff that's already done
The night team posts notes and signs off patients from their phones. By 7 a.m. the day team's board reflects every change, with no list to reconcile.
Real-time Engine· Platform
Sign off a patient on your phone and the board on every desk changes with it. Ultradoc keeps every screen, count, and colleague current as the work happens.
Update every screen in the practice without anyone pressing refresh?Ultradoc does that.
Everyone with a patient open can see who else is there. When one of them changes something, the chart shows it with their name, and every board, count, and report has it in the same second.
TITamsin opens Teodoro's chart. Her face joins Dr. Quinlan's and Marco's at the top of his chart, on all three screens.
MQDr. Quinlan discharges him. Before it saves, the flow asks how he'll follow up, right under the row she changed. She picks the office.
MQIt's saved once, to the record every screen reads. Every board, total, and report in the practice has it in the same second, on desks and phones alike.
TITamsin's chart is already current. His stay reads Discharged on the tab she has open, and its note count already includes the follow-up.
MBMarco's timeline names who did it. Across town, the step lands at the top of the timeline with Dr. Quinlan's name on it.
Nobody pressed refresh. Teodoro is still waiting for the elevator.
Every page and every record shows who else is on it. Hover a face to see what they have open, and go straight there.
On this task
Ultradoc starts loading what you're about to open, paints the page you came for first, and answers search on every keystroke.
Press ⌘Kon the calendar and type a patient, a provider, or a moment like “tomorrow 2pm”. It shows what's booked then and who has time open.
Badges, counts, and faces wait until the page you opened has painted, or one second, whichever comes first.
Drag an appointment, move a referral along, or add a patient to the board, and the change shows at once, before the save comes back.
Your permissions, modules, and sign-in checks arrive together, so the app opens without a chain of loading screens.
When a provider calls out, block or clear their day from one dialog. The run keeps going in the background with live counts, and every open calendar marks each visit cancelled as it goes.
Take a provider's time off the calendar for a day, a stretch of days, or the same hours each day, and optionally cancel the appointments already in it.
Continues in the background — you can leave this page.
The amber hatch marks the day as blocked, so nothing new gets booked into it.
Open the same dialog from another desk and it offers to follow the run in progress instead of starting a second one.
Signal drops in the stairwell, a note gets interrupted, an update lands mid-shift. Ultradoc catches up, keeps the draft, and waits for a pause.
The provider app says when you're offline and keeps the last saved list on screen. When the signal returns, every screen catches up on its own, without a reload.
Pause for a moment and your unfinished note is saved to your account, flagged as a draft on the board, and visible to no one else.
Ultradoc checks for a new version every 15 seconds. It reloads itself once you've paused and nothing is unsaved, or asks first.
The details that keep a whole practice on the same page.
The fax inbox, unread patient messages, forms that need attention, calls, and connection requests recount on every screen as the work moves.
Change a role, turn on a module, or require two-factor sign-in, and every open session picks it up without anyone signing out.
Admins see who has Ultradoc open, where each of their tabs is, and which teammates aren't on.
The provider app reads the same live record for encounters, messages, staff chat, and notifications, and a change to those on the web can't ship until the phone accounts for it.
Each day gets one shared page on the Encounters board, with tables and highlights. The whole team writes in it at once, and everyone sees each edit.
Book a slot someone just took, or change a visit's status after a colleague already has, and Ultradoc tells you instead of saving over their work.
Everything in Ultradoc writes to the same live record, and every screen that reads it stays current.
Wherever more than one person touches a patient's day, everyone sees the same thing at the same time.

Cardiology
The fellow posts a note on a new consult, and the attending's phone stops flagging the patient as unseen before the fellow has left the room.
Pediatrics
A pediatrician calls out. The manager clears the day and messages each family while the front desk watches the calendar empty in step.
Orthopedics
A coordinator adds a case at the desk, and it appears on the surgeon's Surgery tab in the provider app without a phone call.
Family medicine
The front desk sees that a medical assistant already has the refill request open, and takes the next task in the queue instead.
Nephrology
Nephrologists switch locations on the phone as they round from unit to unit, while the office board follows each sign-off as it happens.
Every part of Ultradoc reads from the same live record, so each one makes the others better.
Tell us how your practice runs. We'll set Ultradoc up around it and connect it to the EHR you already use.
