Hospital medicine
Thirty patients, four clinicians
Split the census by location, see who is still outlined in red as Unseen, and watch teammates' faces move across the cards as they round.
Encountersยท Modules
Every patient your team is seeing, on one board that updates the moment anyone writes a note, signs off, or books a case. Dictate, chart, and discharge from the same screen.
Round on 30 patients with your whole team, live?Ultradoc does that.
One cardiology patient, from the Wednesday she's added to the Friday she goes home. Deal through her card, or pick a moment, and see the encounter as her team saw it.
Search a name or date of birth across your patients and your EHR, pick the room, and the card lands on every teammate's board at once. Until someone writes a note, it stays outlined in red as Unseen.
Tap the mic and talk the way you would to a colleague. Pause, and clean sentences drop into the note for a last look. Send it, and the patient reads as seen on every board.
Orpheus starts reading the moment you send. The billing code is pinned to the note, Important notes are brought current, tomorrow's follow-up is set, and the echo and the cath become tasks.
Confirm the add-on Orpheus drafted: procedure, time, room, surgeon. It joins the Surgery tab and glows for the surgeon, and when the post-op note says it's done, Orpheus offers to mark it done.
Friday's note says home today. Sign off with a disposition, and every board shows the patient as Signed Off, headed Home.
Discharge, and Ultradoc asks how the patient follows up and files the answer as a note. Tasks waiting on discharge wake up, the visit record goes to your EHR, and Orpheus writes the discharge summary.
Collaboration
A note sent from the phone at the bedside appears on every open screen without a refresh. On the web, you see who else has the chart open, and when Orpheus has a question, the whole team sees it.

On the web, every card and open encounter carries the faces of the teammates who have it open. Hover the stack to see who, and jump to where they are.
When Orpheus asks about a note, new notes on that patient wait until someone answers. Anyone who can edit the encounter can answer, on the web or the phone.
If a teammate deletes a note while you're editing it, your text stays on screen, ready to file as a new note. A note that fails to send can be restored.
Dictation
Tap the mic on a card and say it the way you'd say it to a colleague, corrections and all. The note gets the clean version, in your words.
Recording the whole visit instead? Scribe opens right from the encounter and writes the note from the conversation.
Orpheus note analysis
Orpheus starts reading each note the moment it's sent, then does the follow-through. Your practice decides which readings run, so try switching one off.
Choose which analysis pipelines run when notes are added to an encounter.
The other two readings stay quiet on this note: it says the patient was seen, and no stent changed.
It asks instead of guessing. When Orpheus isn't sure how to read a note, it puts a question on the encounter with suggested answers. Dismiss it, and Orpheus takes no action on that item. See everything else it does on the Orpheus page.
The board
One strip of pills on every card says who needs seeing, what's waiting, and where the patient is headed. Pick one to see what it means.
No note has been written on this encounter yet, or Orpheus read the latest note as saying the patient hasn't been seen.
Surgery
Book a case from the encounter with procedure, time, room, and surgeon. The Surgery tab lists one day's cases, or every case from today on, and your own cases glow.
Switch on Upcoming to see add-on requests and every case from today on, by day.
Daily Notes
Daily Notes is a shared page for the whole practice, one for each day. Two people can type into it at the same moment, tables and highlights included, and nobody overwrites anybody.

The details that matter at 7 a.m. with thirty patients to see.
Round from cards, or switch to a compact list for a long census. Sort rooms up or down.
Search by name, date of birth, MRN, or room. Command-F goes straight to the search box.
Hospitals and clinics sit in location groups with a patient count on each, and a location grid to jump between them.
Hide signed-off and discharged patients in one tap. The eye pulses while it hides, so a filtered list never passes for the whole one.
Daily, every 2 or 3 days, weekly, or biweekly, with a reason, a STAT or early flag, and an owner: one teammate or anyone on the team.
Make the tags your service needs, like co-managed or telemetry, in eleven colors, and see them on every card.
Encounters made only of call notes get their own Calls tab, so phone follow-ups never crowd the rounding list.
Room changes, transfers, status steps, surgeries, CPT codes, and Orpheus's questions sit beside the notes, with who and when.
Active, Signed Off, and Discharged out of the box. Rename steps, add your own, and decide what each one asks and does.
Pin the note everyone should read first. A note changed after it was sent says edited.
Bring a signed-off patient back with Re-Consult, or undo a discharge and the tasks it woke go back to waiting.
Home lists the surgeries and follow-ups assigned to you, on the web and in the provider app.
Encounters sits in the middle of the clinical day. Patients come in from your EHR and notes from every device; tasks, codes, and chart updates flow out.
The same board, the same notes, shaped by the service that rounds on it.
Hospital medicine
Split the census by location, see who is still outlined in red as Unseen, and watch teammates' faces move across the cards as they round.
Cardiology
The morning note says cath this afternoon. Orpheus drafts the add-on, you confirm the time and room, and the interventionalist's initials glow on the card.
Orthopedics
Tag the patients you co-manage with medicine, set a daily follow-up, and let the day counter track length of stay on every card.
General surgery
A post-op note prompts Orpheus to offer marking the case done, and anything past its date and not marked done collects in its own list.
Nephrology
Round across hospitals with a location group and a count on each, and set every-2-day follow-ups for patients who don't need a daily visit.
Urology
When a note documents a stent placed or removed, Orpheus updates the patient's stent status and the Stent Tracker takes it from there.
Privacy and audit
Encounters hold the most sensitive notes in the practice. Every read and every write is logged, and roles decide who sees what.
Opening the board, an encounter, or its notes is recorded in the audit log as a read of patient data.
Notes written, edited, and deleted, and changes to the encounter, land in the audit trail with who did it.
Roles decide who sees encounters and who changes them. A reader sees Orpheus's questions but can't answer them.
Teammates limited to certain hospitals or clinics see only the encounters there.
By default, notes lock once a patient is discharged, except for roles allowed to edit locked encounters.
Your practice sets the sign-in policy: a second step by code or authenticator app, and how long a session lasts.
Every part of Ultradoc reads from the same live record, so each one makes the others better.
Tell us how your practice runs. We'll set Ultradoc up around it and connect it to the EHR you already use.
