Pediatrics
One parent, three children
At Cedar Pediatrics, a parent switches between children in one tap. Teenagers get the privacy the practice sets, and reminders to a shared phone leave their names out.
Patient App· Apps
Visits, messages, forms, bills, and family accounts in one app. Every tap lands live in your schedule, your inbox, and the chart.
Offer a cancelled slot to the waitlist?Ultradoc does that.
What needs the patient, across every practice and every child, most urgent first.
Twelve days after knee surgery, Daniel runs his recovery from his phone. Every tap lands on a screen your staff already works from.

Daniel Herrera
Asked to connect Oct 19 · The app found their record
1Monday
Daniel signs up with his phone number, and the app finds his chart at Summit Orthopedics. He connects on his own when your rules allow it, or waits in Connections for one click.
2Tuesday
Summit sends the forms for his post-op visit. His lock screen says only that there's a message. In the app, he photographs his insurance card and checks what it read.
3Wednesday
He writes that his knee is warmer and more swollen. Orpheus marks it urgent and opens a task for your nurses. With the urgent notice on, Daniel sees that the care team has it.
4Thursday
A Friday 8:20 opens up. Daniel is on the waitlist, so the opening is held for him and he books it with one tap. He's told it's booked once your EHR has it.
5Friday
Fifteen minutes before his visit, Home opens to the visit's forms. Afterward, Summit's own thank-you message arrives in the app, with a reminder to book his follow-up.
Texts and alerts say only that something is waiting. Everything else stays in the app, behind its own lock.

Whose visit is the reminder about?
A text or alert says a form or a message is waiting. Appointment reminders add only the practice, the time, and a first name.
When the visit belongs to a 13-to-17-year-old, the reminder says a family member's visit instead.
Patients can require Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint, or their passcode to open Ultradoc, and it locks again after time away.
On iPhone, the app switcher shows the Ultradoc mark instead of the last screen the patient had open.
What the app keeps on the phone sits in encrypted storage, erased when the patient signs out or deletes their account.
Visits added to the phone's calendar name only the practice, unless the patient chooses to include the details.
Patients book the visit types you allow, in the hours you set. The app says booked only once your EHR has accepted it.

Turn online booking on, then choose the visit types, booking hours, and blackout dates. Request-only types wait for your review.
Patients join the waitlist from any visit. A cancelled slot is held for the next one, who books it in the app or by replying to the text.
Every action sits on the appointment itself. Confirming tells the office the patient will be there.
Visits go onto the phone's calendar and move when the visit moves.
Parents run a young child's care from their own app. From 13, your practice decides what guardians keep. At 18, the patient decides.
On Nadia's phone
What Nadia sees at Cedar Pediatrics
Zuri can have her own account now. Nadia sees only what Cedar Pediatrics keeps with guardians.
Teen privacy (ages 13 to 17)
Standard settingsOn a patient's 13th birthday, their parents and guardians keep access only to the areas selected here. Under 13, guardians continue to see everything.
A request from a parent or guardian always waits in Connections. Only your practice can confirm the relationship.
Adults invite family and choose what they see: everything, appointments only, or a custom set, with an optional end date.
Anything a parent does for a child is recorded as the parent, acting for the child, and your staff see who wrote.
Connections holds the requests the app couldn't settle on its own, with the reason for each and what the patient gave beside your chart.
Connections
These people asked to connect to their chart in the app, and the app couldn't connect them on its own. Each request says what's holding it and what settles it.

The Patient App report counts forms sent, started, and submitted, and how many forms before visits come back.
The smaller pieces that each save someone a phone call.
A patient seen at several Ultradoc practices gets one Home, with a chip to narrow it to any one of them.
Book a visit, fill out a form, call the office, get directions, or add a practice from the button on Home.
With the Billing module, patients see each practice's balance, statements, payments, and charges, and can call or message your office about them.
Patients photograph the card and check the insurance company, plan, member ID, and group number the app reads from it.
Patients draw or type their signature. Each signed form carries certificate pages, and the patient keeps a signed copy.
Set forms per visit type and how far ahead they go out, and leave out the ones the patient already finished.
Write a message for each visit type and choose when it goes. It arrives in the app after the visit.
Home opens on what's already on the phone, then catches up the moment the connection returns.
Passkeys on iPhone, two-step verification, backup codes, and staying signed in behind Face ID or a fingerprint.
The app shows what your schedule, forms, and billing hold, and sends what patients do back to the inbox, the task list, and the chart.
One app, set up for how each kind of practice looks after its patients.
Pediatrics

OB/GYN
Harbor Women's Health offers cancelled prenatal slots to its waitlist. The next patient finds the opening held for them and books it with a tap.
Orthopedics
At Summit Orthopedics, a post-op patient's worried message goes to the nurses as urgent, and Orpheus can tell the patient the care team has it.
Dermatology
Elm Street Dermatology asks for a photo of a changing mole with a camera-only question, so it can't come from an old album.
Cardiology
Lakeside Cardiology sends a symptom questionnaire before each follow-up and opens a task to review the answers when it comes back.
Family medicine
Northgate Family Medicine patients look up their balance and statements in the app, and message the billing office when something looks off.
Security
The patient app runs on the same access controls and audit trail as the rest of Ultradoc.
How we protect patient dataConnections, family links, and form filings are written to the audit log with who did what and when.
A family member sees only the areas they were given, at the practices they were given, for as long as the grant lasts.
Texts name your practice and say only that something is waiting. Reminders add the time and a first name.
Patients download Ultradoc and find your practice inside. Send them to the download page.
Every part of Ultradoc reads from the same live record, so each one makes the others better.
Tell us how your practice runs. We'll set Ultradoc up around it and connect it to the EHR you already use.
