Small things that keep the front desk out of a second system.
Pick a patient who exists only in your billing system and Ultradoc creates the chart, already linked to the account.
Linking a chart copies the phone numbers on the billing account into any empty lines, so the front desk has a number to call.
Open the documents your billing system holds for the patient or for a single visit, and download any of them.
Narrow charges by procedure, provider, or insurance, and payments by method or memo, with a running visible total.
Phone agents tell callers their balance, charges, and statements, and can take a card payment on the call with the recording paused while the card is read.
Viewing billing and taking payments are separate permissions, so you decide who at the desk can charge a card.
In the patient app, parents and caregivers with family access see a family member's balance and statements too.
Orpheus drafts CPT codes from encounter notes, and from billable patient-message threads when you turn it on, for staff review in Work Analysis.
Each payment that reaches the payment system is written to the audit log with its method, amount, and outcome.
Payments are permissioned and logged
Only roles you allow can take a payment. Account links, re-links, and every payment are written to the practice's audit log. Card and bank details go to your billing system and are never stored in Ultradoc.
Ultradoc reads the account from your billing system and hands it to everyone who needs it, from the front desk to the patient's phone.

Behavioral health
A patient pays a set amount each month by eCheck using Other Amount, and Payment History shows every installment.
Gastroenterology
On procedure day, Bayview GI sees the balance left from the consult visit and collects it at check-in.
Family medicine
A lab-only patient exists only in billing. Northgate Family Medicine finds them in search and opens a linked chart, phone numbers included.
Every part of Ultradoc reads from the same live record, so each one makes the others better.
