Stent Tracker· Modules

The stent list that keeps itself

Orpheus reads your team's rounding notes. When one records a stent going in or coming out, the patient joins or leaves a live list, and any stent left in too long turns red.

Flag every stent still in after four months?Ultradoc does that.

One sentence starts the clock

Nobody has to key in a stent. Orpheus finds it in the note, and the tracker follows it until it comes out.

Orpheus reads the note

Every note added or edited on an encounter is checked for a stent going in, coming out, or being exchanged. Only a plain statement counts: a history, a plan, or a finding on imaging changes nothing.

Set the line once

Four months is the default. An admin can set any threshold from 30 to 730 days, and every list and pill redraws against it. A stent reads due soon at 70% of the way there.

The demo stops at 240. In Ultradoc, any whole number of days from 30 to 730 works.

It follows the patient

The stent shows up wherever someone is looking at the patient, so the reminder never depends on anyone opening the tracker.

Built for the follow-up work

Most of the work around a stent happens after it goes in: the calls, the letters, the exchange. The tracker keeps all of it with the stent.

Asks before it guesses

If a note describes a new stent while one is already on record, or an exchange of a stent that isn't on record, Orpheus asks the note's author before changing anything.

Find anyone fast

Search by name or MRN across active stents, past stents, or both.

Tags for the follow-up

Mark where each stent stands with your practice's own tags, like Monitoring or Cert letter needed, and filter the list by tag. A new or exchanged stent starts with a clean slate.

Notes on the record

Log the calls, letters, and plans on the patient's stent record, so whoever picks it up next knows what already happened.

Past stents stay on file

The Past view lists every removed or untracked stent with the date it ended and how long it was in.

Correct any date

Fix a placement, exchange, or removal date from the history. The status and due date follow the new date.

On the encounter, too

Stent events appear on the encounter's timeline beside the notes, and discharge summaries say whether a stent is still in.

Bring your current list

Admins can upload a CSV of stents already in place. Each row is matched to the right patient by name and DOB, MRN, or account number, and failed rows come back as a file to fix and re-run.

Export to a spreadsheet

Download the active list or the full history as Excel or CSV, filtered by date, time in place, or tag.

Where it connects

Placements come in from the rounding notes your team already writes. The stent then shows up everywhere the patient does.

For stents that come out

Any stent a rounding note says was placed gets tracked. The threshold is one number for the practice, so set it to what your team's stents need.

Urology

The stent after stone surgery

The rounding note after ureteroscopy says a stent went in, with removal planned in two weeks. If the patient never books, Riverside Urology watches the row turn amber, then red, and a nurse tags it Cert letter needed.

Gastroenterology

Plastic stents from ERCP

Bayview GI sets the threshold to 90 days. When the team's note on the encounter records a biliary stent, the patient joins the list, and a later note recording the exchange resets the clock.

Transplant nephrology

Six weeks after the transplant

A transplant team sets 42 days. Once their rounding note records the ureteral stent, it reads due soon after about four weeks and turns red after six.

Every change on the record

Each placement, removal, exchange, dismissal, tag, and note is written to the audit log with who made it, including the changes Orpheus makes from a note. Stent details show only to roles with stent access, limited to the locations they work, and every export is logged.

How Ultradoc protects patient data

Works with the rest of Ultradoc

Every part of Ultradoc reads from the same live record, so each one makes the others better.

Whatever your practice needs, Ultradoc does that.

Tell us how your practice runs. We'll set Ultradoc up around it and connect it to the EHR you already use.
